    • So much wonder and fantasticalness in being a kid, what I wouldn't give to go back...

Technically I am still somewhat a child; 18 isn't very old. It's really just the beginning of adult life. Being a very young child though- I do miss those days- not a care in the world, getting away with anything using puppy dog eyes, crying, smiling. Life is great as a youngin', you literally have no ginormous cares in the world- the only thing that stresses children out is 'what's in the closet?'.

Now I'm talking really young- what I miss is, the parties! Yes I realise we can still party now; but adult parties end with a 50-50 chance of having a good time, most likely a hangover followed by mass amounts of vomit and amnesia, 83% chance of fending for your own food and a bittersweet end.

Childrens parties are the greatest thing in the world; there will always be food, party pies and sausages, lollies, chips, cake etc. you will never go hungry. Entertainment without getting a headache; jumping castles, fun houses, pass the parcel, clowns and more! And supervision- it's hard to get hurt when you have 20 parents looking after you.

The worst you can get from childrens parties is a sore tummy, which leads to home time, then nap time, then waking up fresh as a daisy and ready for another day. All the things booze doesn't do for us.

And that's only one aspect of childhood, the greatest it can get- the lowest point of chilhood is boo-boos and vegetables. It's hard NOT to enjoy life when you're that little.
