    • 'Counselling for toads' was a helpful read...
    • A few years ago I was lucky enough t get my hands on a book called Counselling for Toads:A Psychological Adventure by Robert de Board. The book joins Kenneth Grahame's much beloved characters of Toad, Rat, Mole and Badger from Wind in the Willow.

The difference here is that as well as being a great follow up novel, the story also looks at counselling as a way of dealing with different psychological conditions including Toad's obsessive and often dangerous behaviour.

The book opened up some fascinating ideas, challenging my thoughts about counselling, psychological conditions and inspiring me to pick up the original book and do a bit of psychoanalysis myself!

Well worth a read, get a copy if you can!
