Conservatives in the USA support a free-market system that guarantees the continuation of poverty. They simultaneously claim to support Christian theocracy in government. I find this ironic as a Christian; when I read my Bible I see verse after verse about giving to the poor and the perils of the love of money. Think, people. Think about it.

I'm a Christian Socialist. I am barely able to pay the minimum balances required on my credit cards each month; and yet, I gladly practice regular voluntary tithing to my minister ... so few of the rich "religious" conservatives in this country even tithe. Savings in the storehouse of Heaven, period.
