If I could tame a wild animal and have it as my pet, I would train a giraffe.

My pet giraffe, whom I'd affectionately call Giraffey (hey, I'm not good with names, okay?), would be the best pet, ever. Why? Well, because of the remotely operated video camera I placed on his head, of course!

The camera, which I'd affectionately call my GiraffeyCam, would serve three main functions:
1. GiraffeyCam would spy on my neighbors so I can officially confirm that their lives are waaaaaay more boring than mine.
2. GiraffeyCam would enable me to see who's at the front of any line.
3. GiraffeyCam coupled with a time-machine and a teleporter would get me some sweet footage of Obama's inauguration. I'd sell that footage and buy Giraffey a custom made turtleneck.
