Alka Seltzer + Cold. Have used Alka Seltzer for years and it has always worked best for me. However if you are not familiar with it, it can be daunting. I remember in college telling a friend to try it. He was reluctant at first but agreed because he was so miserable he was willing to try anything. I gave him a pack. A few minutes later he came back with them in his hand. He looked at me and said he was not going to even try swallowing those things. After I stopped laughing I told him to dissolve them in water. He still insisted that he hold his nose when he swallowed.

One warning! The new orange flavor is absolutely disgusting. It's bad enough to make you get better just to avoid not tasting it.
