    • Caramel Coconut and Caramel Coconut Nuts and Chocolate Candy Apples

      My mother is mildly allergic to coconut meat -- she can eat Thai curries with coconut milk just fine, but the actual flakes give her dry-mouth, cause her lips & gums to ache, and give her a mildly swollen airway. I didn't inherit her allergy per se, but coconut flakes just taste like shite to me. I don't generally eat any candy with such stuff in it. No Almond Joy or Mounds for this cat!

    Ack! I used to hate coconut, now I love it - especially coconut meat. They have some Israeli candy that is like heroin to coconut lovers. Oh well, if you aren't going to eat it, all the more for me! Cheers!
