Being in love - and feeling the disappointment afterwards - isn't really worth it. Maybe it is my personality, but I don't see the great appeal in being in love.

Perhaps after the lovestory of the century someone might say that being in love was well worth the pain afterwards, but if you are happy as you are, alone, why go through the trouble of trying to make your life fit someone else's and suffer the eventual disappointment?
