They get a bad rap, and honestly I think they need serious help when it comes to driving in the rain, but overall I have never felt more like I was surrounded by competence on the road as I do in SoCal. With such a massive roadway infrastructure, and such high average traffic densities, drivers down there have to be good or else the entire region would die in multi-car pileups. That said, let's talk about Bay Area drivers... geez... been here for nearly 21 years... WORST. DRIVERS. EVER.
