Babies wear diapers so their poop and wee isn't scattered around the house. Also with a baby they get fed by someone, so that person can kind of control how much mess is made with the food where as no one really watches the dog eat and os they don't control the messiness. Finally like I said dogs don't get watched as much as babies, so dogs get all the freedom to make a mess.
