• A family story
    • The story I'm about to share with you takes place about 10 years ago. It is a story of truth, fact and pure shock. This story is a huge chapter in my family’s lives; for it was really a test to prove how strong we really are, as a family. For those light hearted readers, I urge you to find another answer to read right now. Nah it’s really not that bad...

There are a few tangents in this tale which would make the story make a bit more sense and add more interest, but I really can’t be bothered as it will end up making this answer into a freaking novel.

The central character in this tale is my brother Sam. Back in the day he used to deal drugs; at this time, I was 8, my sister had just moved out as had both my brothers. Now Sam got into a bit of a snag one spring day; he bought a batch of ecstasy to sell. His customer complained after he made the drop off that the stuff was no good and that it was a dud batch. A bit peeved and reluctant my brother got some more. On the way, it vanished.

My brothers’ bosses were furious and threatened him and us; they knew where we were because of his car which was easily distinguished and they are drug dealers- they will find anyone. My parents were furious, my brother putting all our lives in danger like that. This was also around the time my sister took 6 pills that my brother gave her and she had a massive freak out thinking she was the exorcist and my brother was Satan. So needless to say, Sam was not in the good books.

Eventually they got a hold of my other brother Sanel. They knew he was good at chemistry and science, so the put a gun to his head and told him to make up the formula for a certain drug. He ended up writing them up a complete bible on the shit. And thanks to Sanel, we were all saved. He was praised for a while and everyone was really just happy that we were all alive, especially the parents. Sam was ostracised for a while, but eventually forgiven, because he is family after all. And everything sort of went back to normal. A few days later my brother found the missing batch in the boot of his car.

Being a child I barely knew what was going on; but I have been told the whole story now. I can tell you that no one looked at each other the same way ever again; but it proves that no matter how much utter catastrophically shit one of us gets into, the rest of us will be there to save each others asses.
