My proudest moment would have to be the time I made my father speechless.

My dad is an arrogant bastard most of the time and he thinks he knows it all, he's always right in his book... "it's his way or the highway" as my mother would day.

Generally everyone in my family is scared of him and constantly give up and let him win all the arguments. Me however, my whole life I've been fighting my way and most of the time I'd end up in tears walking away because it would get pretty close to a punch up.

Domestic disputes ain't fun! Anyways. One day.. I can remember the entirety of the conversation; just the fact that I ended it. I said something that made him look like he was 5 years old getting told off by his mummy.

Oh what a day. Our relationship has never been the same since then. I've gone up a level, he respects me now and I'm let off on quite a few things. All because I wasn't afraid of a fight. I stood up to the shit, and won.
