Portrait of a macaque

People say that keeping a monkey as a pet is "selfish" or "ill-advised" or "just outright dangerous" but that's just propaganda. Monkeys and humans are meant to co-exist. Just the other day i was watching this movie about monkeys that took over the earth and they were getting along so well with the humans. I had the sound off so i couldn't totally tell what was going on but there was this scene where the monkeys were playing "pretend pets" with the humans, and the humans were wearing leashes and looked like they were having just so much fun!
