I feel like unlike the last time I had a dog ( back when I was still at an age where girls had cooties and some of my friends had to be home by the time the streetlights came on), I am at an age where I can appreciate the companionship that a loyal dog has to offer. Also, a well trained and well exercised dog will bring you constant joy and entertainment (and let us not forget that when ladies' are around, the little guy works as one of the most successful ice-breakers there is).
