- Give me a problem, I give you two problems first
-
People are constantly bothering me with requests of my attention. How dare they! This is how I deal it.
Give me a problem, I give you two problems first
Totally passive-aggressive or aggressive-aggressive. To keep people from bothering me, when somebody comes to me with a problem, I give them two problems back at them that must be accomplished before I even start.
"Moe, help me with this ladder" "OK, but first help me get my toolbox from upstairs and call XYZ to tell them I will be late"
It is actually much worse than 'no'.
Sarcasm
I don't even turn my head, or stop whatever I am doing. In the middle of their tale of woe, I will say one word "Interesting..." in the most sarcastic way possible.
Again, much worse than just saying 'no'.
Leap into action.
When my Baby Love tell me to do something, saying 'no' is not an option. My only option is frantic action. That is the way my Baby likes it.
