Mayhem Festival
A day long outdoor concert. The metal equivalent of woodstock? Not really, there were less drugs. But still, I had to feel that the fest is a force to be reckoned with.
There was no sort of ground surface to speak of. Gravel over dirt & dust that kicked up in storms of movement. Whitechapel's wall of death sent a furious cloud of muck up in the air which made it hard to breath so everyone just moshed harder.
Epic bands, epic events. I wouldn't miss it again for the world.
