That's a good question! I think the most important aspect of a gift is that it should be special. By special I don't mean cliche or cheesy either. A birthday gift for someone you have been dating for a month should be more special than an ordinary gift but it shouldn't be over the top. You could get a gift that relates to an inside joke that the you have with one another. Another good idea is a gift that both of you could do together like tickets to a concert. The more that you ponder about it, the more good ideas will come to mind. Don't wait until the day of their birthday to get them a gift because it will most likely not be very thoughtful. Make them feel special because of the thoughtfulness you put into their gift, not the amount of money!
