- What my shoes say about me
-
Picture this: I'm all dressed up, about to go out (use your *imagination*) (actually, I'm going to ceremony for mourners, but this applies on any occasion), wearing a really cute outfit...and the scruffiest, coolest Skechers ever. They're glittery gold low-top sneakers without shoelaces and underneath the glitter netting there's pictures of geishas and flowers and all.
I only ever wear Skechers or thongs (flip flops, for you in other countries) (well, and school shoes and sneakers). That's it. Skechers are my footwear of choice. Yes, I'm wearing them now.
What do they say about me?
They are consistent with my theory that I was a magpie in a past life, with an addiction to sparkly things. They're extremely worn, which says a couple of things about me:
1 - I need some new shoes and
2 - I don't care for my posessions, and I should start to because it's getting ridiculous
They're casual and I wear them everywhere, which probably says that I should yet again, get some more shoes, and am an extremely casual person who should care more about my footwear. Also, I have no concept of "matching" (What is this word you speak?).
They are also quirky and AWESOME, which can only mean that I myself am awesome. Why was that ever in question?
