My first paycheck/s came from working at our state fair, in the Home & Family Arts building. Clean the display cases, be around to answer questions, make sure no one is wandering around carrying a drink without a lid... Very temporary job-- a day of orientation, couple days of checking in exhibits, the duration of the fair, & a day to check out exhibits. All for minimum wage, but it was a good job. Not stressful, worked with good people (including my now-fiancé & his mom & brother), got a bit of exercise, culture... I loved my first job.
