• Missing
    • I miss a lot of things. I miss the levity of financial stability. I miss the capacity for storytelling I used to have. I miss structure. I miss how small my kittens were when we first brought them home, although they're beautiful now. I miss having a concrete plan. I miss the passion I had for music. I miss the feeling of buying a new dress. I miss my job at the music store, and everyone I worked with there. I miss cocktails. I miss only one of my exes, and I only miss him some of the time. I miss being missed. I miss giving drawings away as presents, back when I thought I was poor. I miss clean carpets and working vacuum cleaners. I miss the knowledge that my day-to-day life has a purpose, a destination.

But compared to what I don't miss, I don't think I would change a thing.

Bah, concrete plans are overrated. 99.9% of people with a "concrete plan" for their life, have gravel in their brain-pan.
