Researchers have been debating this for ages, but what do you think: nature or nurture?
I think that researchers have been debating this for ages because the answer is both. I believe genetics impact how a person acts and thinks because everyone acts differently. I think people are predisposed to act in particular ways in differen't situations. For example, I know that I generally always get tired after midnight. People still have the capablitiy to process why they are acting in those certain ways. I think environment impacts the way people think by constantly changing the experiences that people have. Based on that idea, from experiences, people form their values and beliefs which shape their personality and actions. At times, this may impact their natural reactions caused by genetics. At least I know this to be somewhat true for myself! I could be totally wrong! If I had to say one is more determinant than the other, I would probably say environment because people form habits very easily in my experience.
