Playing Pretend
Everyday during recess nine years ago my group of friends and I would run around the play ground pretending we were sailor scouts from the television show Sailor Moon. We all enjoyed the show because of the action and romantic teenage girl aspects. Sailor Moon was a hero to us, we looked up to her and her friends and loved the magical adventures she went on. Magic back then was real to us, our imagination and creativity made our recesses in elementary school some of the fondest memories of my childhood.
