Large cattle tanks make instant garden ponds. Fill them with water and plants, just like any natural pond. Place a recirculating pump and have a small fountain. Stand one on the ground, and the outside edges can be painted, if you don't like the galvanized metal look. Or place one in the ground. We buried one near an ivy patch with just the rim exposed. Add fish - and even Peter Rabbit couldn't ask for a better garden pond.
