- Sharing a shower with 3 big iguanas and my hubby in a cold water cement palapa when you're in Tulum, Mexico

It was so startling to have these big animals run out of the palapa and onto the walls of our shower stall. Then it was hilarious to watch the two males posture for the attention of the female. They were about 3 feet from us right at head height. Amazing experience!
