When I lost my job back in February, I thought it was the end of my world. When my daughter scolded me for taking a phone call while driving her home from school, saying that "this had always been our time to catch up"; I realized that this time off from working nonstop was needed. I have so appreciated being an at home mom for once in the 14 years.
