    • Why I Don't I Read "The Holy Bible" Like I should?
    • I believe in God and consider myself a Christian but, I don't read the Bible the way I feel I should. There is no real reason for it. And, I am ashamed of myself for not being well versed with the Bible as I should.

I didn't finish because I let my mind get on something else. I just need to get back to reading it at least a little everyday. I'm going to start going to church every Sunday like I did when I was young. Lord please forgive me.

The bible is a good story with a lot of great morals. Religious or not its an awesome read. Take a step back for a second though and you have to understand it is a bit outdated (like most religions) and you have to really UNDERSTAND it to apply it to now. Please don't be like most religious people and take it word for word. It was written for people of another time, just like most holy books, and didn't include a clause for "changing times". It's just as wrong, however, to twist the words in such a way that it justifies malicious acts (as in the case of Muslim terrorists). I truly believe that if god exists, he/she wanted the Bible, the Koran, etc. to be used as a study guide, NOT a rule book. Peace! :-)
