Well, I would like to have my innocence back. I miss being a kid and thinking that the mailbox was like that one in the Jetsons, and that adults knew everything.

Now that I'm older I realize that you have to wait for mail, and mail travels VERY slowly while you wait for it. And that the adults are just as lost as I was, sometimes. And other times the withholding of information was a good thing. When Santa was real and the worst thing in the world was spankings. Now the worst thing is making a choice that might mess up your whole life. And, who wants that? Right now I'm in one of those situations. All I have to do, is basically push one button. And I have the money I need for school. But, if I can't make it, then I lose out on any chance of the government helping me again.

This growing up thing is a real pain, and I wish I could hit a rewind button and appreciate my childhood more rather than wishing it away and dreaming of the day that I wake a voluptuous woman. Which, by the way, never happened. I look like I'm 16. Silly childhood. Silly. . . fun. . . wasted childhood.
