Dr. Seuss. The master at rhymes and the magic behind true children's stories. He once said this, "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." This quote automatically caught my attention for how true it is. Every word in this statement is most definitely not a lie. You must admit that although the best things in life end, you have to be grateful that you at least had the chance to have that great moment.

Ever since I heard this quote, I am not as naive as I used to be. It is as though it erased some of that childish innocence away from me, revealing a true fact. That quote has taught me to cherish every single second of every amazing moment before they whither away into nothingness. And we all know that the greatest things in life are also the shortest.
