    • "By golly Henry, ain't that the darndest thing you ever seen..."
The two cops stand in the vast snowy wastes, staring at a large seal, dead, half of its body only bones with a pile of greyish green goo bubbling beneath it. Smoke was emitting from where the wound had burned the flesh.

"Yeah Ron, it sure is. What kind a creature could do something like that?"
"Well it certainly wa'nt any creature I know off. Ne'er seen anythin' like it"
Ron turned his head and spit out some chew in the white snow.
Then he noticed small black footprints starting to trail out of the bubbly goo. Like an invisible creature was walking away from the scene of the crime.
      He squinted his eyes.
      "You see that?!"

Henry's attention was turned to the footprints. They seemed to be disappearing as fast as they were made.

Ron started to follow then, Henry followed suit. After a short while they noticed the opening of a cave, and felt pulsings, it made their ears ring, both of them put their hands to their ears and bent over a little. The pulsing subsided slightly, and Ron pushed himself forward, despite the pain. The pulsing got angrier as he got closer. Once he set his foot inside, a large screeching came from the cave, it seemed to turn the air blue and black and green, Ron stared at the black opening, and two glowing eyes appeared near the entrance of the cave, Rons eyes were frozen open, and yellow gooze started oozing out from the bottom ridges of them. He attempted to make noise, and was obviously in much pain.

Henry, seeing this from afar, but not being able to see the darkness, ran towards him.
      "Ron, you okay?!"

As he ran towards them obliviously, whatever was inside got very angry, and screeched again, even louder than before, and this time he lunged forward, killing Ron, and Henry in an instant.

In the light it became clear that the creature was a very large, black dog-like creature. It turned it's head back toward the mouth of the cave, as a skinny, pale human-like figure could just barely be made out in the darkness. In it's right had was a silver and blue weapon of some sort.

The dog turned and ran back into the cave and disappeared.
The figure lingered for a while, eerily, never coming into full focus, and turned around and disappeared into the darkness as well.
