    • A day without a cell phone
    • A day without your cellphone isn't such a bad thing. Unless you're meeting up with people (running a little late perhaps?) or you're lost and need serious help. I think it's really nice to be able to switch off your phone from time to time and not be 'connected'. For people to have constant access to you can be such a comforting convenience, unless it's someone you don't particularly like- in which case, why do they even have your number?!
Some people I know feel that they can never have their mobiles switched off in case of emergencies. As I don't have children I guess I will never really completely understand that feeling...

I feel the same way. I don't really pay much attention to my phone. I use it to call my husband everyday during lunch, but when I'm at home it's usually in a different room. I'm always apologising to people for missing their calls or texts, although most of my friends know that I can't easily be reached by phone. :)

It's Megan! I found you.. but I agree, about the cell phone thing. I turn mine off at night- and sometimes I turn mine off during the day just to get disconnected. Sometimes it's nice to get disconnected from Facebook & Twitter too.
