I went to over twenty-six schools before graduating from high school. In all the schools I have been to there have been the good teachers and the bad teachers. However the last school I went to was in a little town in Colorado. There were a total of twenty-one students in my graduating class it wasn't the smallest school I had been to.

I took a class called writers English I thought the class was a writing course. It turned out that it was a business writing course that they named writers English. The teacher was a woman that you would expect to find in a retirement home rather than in a classroom. She sounded very raspy and she had a very bad chronic cough.

One of the first things she yells at the class is "I might be blind, deaf, and dumb but I'm not stupid." It turned out I learned the many different ways that these four words could be used to make sentences. They were her favorite sayings. When anyone in the class asked her a question about assignments she referred them to the library, the internet, and to other students in the class.

She would walk out in the middle of class and just be gone for the rest of class. Once when a student needed to go to the office we as a class had to go find her she was in her car across the street smoking.
