- My fear of public speaking
-
Yes. I have been a shy person my entire life...even in elementary school, all my teachers said I was quiet. My parents were always shocked because they said I wasn't quiet at home! of course I wasn't quiet, I held all my talking in the entire day.
It's not too severe. I took a public speaking class in college, and I was so nervous that half the time I ended up speaking too fast and leaving too much time left.
I think it's moderate. I'm still afraid to do public speaking now, but not as much as I used to be.

While I am at times quiet, I also at times may actually talk too much. I've never been a person to have a lot of secrets, and my life has always pretty much been an open book. But, there are time to listen and learn, and times to share or speak your mind.
I have always done sales in some way or another, but still am quite reserved, as well.
As the Bible says, there is a time and place for everything under the sun, a time to laugh and a time to cry, a time to work and a time to play.
So, choose your time to do whatever it is time to do, and when you have something to say, more people will listen, as you probably have something of importance to say.
