So being an army wife I end up traveling with my children alone a lot. I was on a flight to the United States with my oldest daughter pregnate with my second. The flight ended up being rerouted to Greenland because someone had a heart attack on the plane.

My daughter who had just turned one was screaming. This man I never got his name handed me this crazy toy that was still sealed in it's wrapper. It had places for her to chew and suck to this day she still has that toy she knows the story behind it.

I find that when I am flying long distinces. That taking something small and silly like a still wrapped toy to give to another mother at her wits end is a good idea. You never know when you will be able to help out the whole airplane of people from a screaming child.
