I'm a sucker for most things baked. Pastries, raspberry or cream cheese danishes, especially. Garlic bread. Fresh chocolate chip cookies (maybe with some pecans) and a big glass of cold milk. Heck, I even get carried away on certain kinds of boxed crackers (Rosemary and olive oil Triscuits FTW!). I guess the appeal just lies in any starch, because I'll pick away at pasta - like ravioli or tortellini - the same way. I also like warm rice mixed with butter, milk and sugar at breakfast time. Tasty tasty times from staying at my grandma's house. Of course there's always peanut butter on toast dipped in chocolate milk OR (don't hate it 'til you try it) peanut butter and pickles on toast. Fantastic!
It's probably the starch/endorphins thing that makes everyone turn to bread-like things when they're going through rough times. All I know though is that if I wasn't diabetic, I'd probably eat my way solo through a store-bought danish in no time (in all honesty, diabetes probably wouldn't stop me either).
