In life we make mistakes, each and every day we mess up. In my life I never really received advice from the people whose opinions I valued. Consequently I went through the earlier years of my life making numerous rash and uncalculated decisions. Deeply I wish that I could have received the simple message that who I am is good enough for people who truly care about others. Correspondingly I would have needed somebody to tell me that it was these people that I needed to be looking to for later advice and guidance. I lived life wrong. At this point I am reaching out to kids who represent a reflection of my past; additionally, I am giving them the knowledge that was never imparted to me as my perspective on the world began to change. I hope that this will snowball and create a new generation of leaders, of youth who are not afraid to question the scenarios presented as the truth, of leaders who will pave the way for our country.
