It's an old shop. It's slightly unorganized, but it's filled with every book you can imagine. There's an old cat that slinks around the shop, and there's a staircase that keeps going. The floor is all hard wood, and there's an attic at the top. That's where the esoteric section is. And at the very top, you can look out over Milwaukee Avenue, down at the passing traffic below, at the Flat Iron across the way. That's where Jojo's Closet is. Jojo's the resident artist/maniac there. You can smell the falafel houses and the hookah lounges no matter what season it is.

Love. I used to be rational, and I used to fit it into so many boxes. I thought I had it with some guy I'd met at the beginning of my freshman year, but that same year I had formed this friendship with this other guy, and we'd just talk all the time. Until one night, I just knew. We've had our pitfalls, but he is the one. I know it. It taught me a lot about myself, I used to be a people pleaser and now I'm not. I stand up for myself now, I revere and trust my opinion, I do what I want to do. So not only did I learn love was possible, but self-love and integrity also.
