It reminds me of the innocence of being a child and a time when everything was so much less complicated. The world was much more black and white. The difference between right and wrong or the definition of what was acceptable were crystal clear. This book is a reminder of morals that were instilled in me that have helped me see the answer when the world became grey and blurry.

My father took my sister and I to see it in the theater when we were pretty young. She and I had no idea what we were getting into but we would get my dad to let us watch R-rated movies b/c mom wouldn't and he was trying to be the "cooler" parent in the divorce. There was NOTHING "cool" about that experience!
