I try to escape. Go for a long walk - alone. I dont want to talk about the situation that stressed me out. Its a matter of refocussing, cooling off and composing myself.

I remember a dog talking to me....it did! When I was about 3 or 4 and I woke up through the night and the toy dog which sat on drawers between my bed and my sisters cot spoke to me. It told me to get my head under the cover before he bit it off. I was terrified. I hated that dog. I told the window cleaner when I woke up - he must have thought I was nuts. My mom and dad never believed me that the dog spoke and they will never know how relieved I was when we threw it away while we were packing to move to South Africa.
