      • This isn't the scariest moment of my life, but it was scary at the time :)


        Four friends were walking through the car park of the Cardigan Fields Leisure Complex, ready to go bowling. Amy, Michael, Sophie and Luke were very tired after their incredibly long walk from school. It was the end of term, and the build up of excitement had left their emotions on overdrive, and spirits running high. Singing, dancing, and generally being crazy were included in their journey.

        After a quick trip into McDonalds, they came to the quiet road leading into the complex. A ridiculous Michael thought it would be amusing to walk down the middle of the road pretending to be a car. The other three laughed at his immense stupidity, and continued laughing when he sat down.... in the middle of the road.

        Like a flash a car began speeding towards him, causing him to jump to his feet; startled and angry. "Stop speeding, wankers!!" he yelled as the car the raced past him.

        No one thought anything of that moment, until the car in question came back into view. It was reversing.... in the direction of the four teenagers.

        Panic was written all over their faces, as they ran back. "Jump in the bushes, quick!!" Amy yelled, her heart beating furiously from the shock of it all. Amy and Sophie then climbed over the fence into the bushes, just as the car came to a halt and the window was wound down.

        "What did you say??" the driver asked a quivering Michael.

        "Nothing," he replied.

        The car drove away, leaving a giggling Michael, Luke and Sophie behind.

        "Jump in the bushes?? 'Cause you can't get run over in the bushes can you, Amy??" one of them said mockingly.

    • Scorpia is long, but it's worth the read

      • I was actually going to recommend Anthony Horowitz books (Scorpia's by Anthony Horowitz) but it came up with a picture of a particular book, so I can't put that as the title.

        Each book's action-packed and really well written. It can be a bit gorey at times, but it probably depends on how you imagine it. I suck at writing book reviews, don't I??

      • Don't waste your time with this movie. Utter bollocks.

        It's possibly the only movie I've seen that I couldn't even be arsed looking at the screen for, due to its major crapness. It was supposed to be funny, but just wasn't, which led to me leaving about an hour before it had finished.
