- The Fun-Size Chocolate Is Inappropriately Named.
-
The average packet of fun-size maltesers probably contains, on average, a maximum of three maltesers. Someone somewhere along the confectionary line seems to think this is acceptable.
Strangely, this person also seemed to think, rather illogically, that tiny chocolate is 'fun'. What on earth is their definition of 'fun'? It seems to me it's probably something along the lines of 'Fun is getting an incredibly small piece of chocolate that makes you crave chocolate even more but never actually satisfies the original chocolate craving'. Fun is not getting an incredibly small piece of chocolate that makes you crave chocolate even more but never actually satisfied the original chocolate craving.
Fun would be a crater full of maltesers. Fun would be a Mars bar longer than the M25.Fun would be a Rolo that's large enough to use as a tastier London Eye.
So, in conclusion, I would rename 'fun-size chocolate' annoying-sized chocolate.

- My TV guilty pleasure...
-
I like Come Dine With Me. Actually, that is a lie. I LOVE Come Dine With Me.
Really, it is quite mediocre. But that is the charm of it. You don't have to think about it, at all. You sit there, knowing that at some point someone will create something you would never eat, something so boring you practically eat it everyday, and/or something you'd eat everyday for the rest of your life. You wait for the usual small talk, flirting and arguing. And that's it. You barely have to recognise that they change the people for each episode.
Inevitably, this reduces the excitement you could get from this programme. I hardly expect that my heart rate goes up even one millisecond per minute when they give them scores. I reckon it's even less when finding out the actual winner.
Still, it's what I like to call 'easy watching'. Sometimes, that's all I need from television.
(P.S. I can't believe I just justified watching Come Dine With Me)
