- What are you looking forward to this Autumn?
-
I'm looking forward to many things this Autumn. I'm looking forward to spending my first Autumn in Norwich. I'm looking forward to changes in weather. I'm looking forward to Halloween! I'm looking forward to Bonfire Night. I'm looking forward to my parents visiting again. I'm looking forward to more fun evenings with my friends, and fun nights out. I'm looking forward to smiling a lot over the next couple of months.

- My Middle Name
-
My middle name is Jade. I have no idea why - maybe I should ask my Mum. I like it a lot. One of my favourite colours is green and I think it suits my personality a lot. I really like the name. So yeah, I'm very happy with it.

- What Makes Me Stand Out
-
I stand out in a few ways, to be honest. Firstly, I'm tall - really tall, for a girl. I'm 6ft. This means that I'm taller than most people, including a lot of men. My red hair also makes me stand out a little, I guess. I have a fairly 'unique' look in general.

- Paper or Digital?
-
For notes, I always have to write by hand. Even when I'm on the phone at work and I have the 'notes' field right in front of me on the PC, I have to write it down. When I'm writing, however - blog, story, poem - I much prefer to type it.

- A Book that Changed My Life: Harry Potter
-
Of all the books that have 'changed my life', I'd have to choose the Harry Potter books. I grew up with them and they inspired me in a way no other books did. They were utter escapism. I absolutely loved to lose myself in the world JK Rowling created. It was the most lovely, beautifully crafted world and everything about it came to life as I read it - Hogwarts, the professors, butterbeer, nights in Hagrid's cabin.
The books had wonderful lessons and morals in them - lessons in friendship and loyalty, in particular - but didn't preach, either. I wouldn't say they influenced my behaviour, as such, and I was already into the world of fantasy. But the books certainly strengthened my interest in the world of fantasy fiction, and I think they have encouraged many, many children to read more. I could devour those books within a day.
More than anything, they represent an innocence and nostalgia to me that nothing else quite captures. I've never reread any books even half as much as I have reread the Harry Potter books. In fact, just writing this answer has made me want to read them again. :)
