- They were the best teachers!
-
Well this is a toss up between my Dad and my Mom. Dad taught me what it was to be a lady at all times. How to take pride in myself. How to demand respect from men and give it in return. What a good husband and father was and how to keep a marriage alive. Mom taught me how to be a strong, independent woman. How to be fearless. How to be compassionate. How to a friend. What a good wife and mother was and how to value myself. They both taught me how to keep a marriage strong. How to keep a family strong and how to love someone unconditionally. They both taught me the things I would need to be a success in life and they did it all by example. In my book that makes the two of them the best teachers I ever had.
Love and miss you both! <3

- Smoking Bans

No, but they should ban drinking in both. Can't every recall seeing a news report about someone who was driving and smoking killing innocent people.

- How I'd Give Away $1 Million
-
A Million dollars huh? I can't say I would give any of it away but I would spend it on others and here is how.
I would buy a new vehicle for my husband and each of my children.
I would pay off my house.
I would put 50 thousands in a trust for each of my grand children to be collect when they graduate college or turn age 30 which ever came first.
I would send each of my brothers 25 thousand.
I would donate 50 thousand to the Knights of Columbus in honor of my parents.
I would give a art program for children 10 thousand.
I would go to the local Community College and pay off 2 years of tuition for one girl and one boy.
I would pay the rent for a year for a senior couple.
I would give each of my nephews and nieces 10 thousands each.
I would give 25 thousand to a local no kill animal shelter.
And if I had anything left...I would put it all in 20.00 bills and just hand them out to anyone I saw....with a message written on each...."It's cheap to be happy".

- Things I'll Never Understand
-
1. I will never understand those people who get great joy out of knocking others down or hurting their feelings on purpose. Don't you understand that every time you do that you just scream to the world how insecure YOU ARE.
2. I will never understand why College's feel the need to force classes on you that you should of had in High School. If I am going to college to become an artist, why do I need math, science, history etc...teach me about Art, I should already know enough about the rest.
3. I will never understand why its always those who deserve it the least, need it the least or are entitled to it the least, that always seem to get the most. What happen to being rewarded for being a good person with a good heart and soul, who works hard, plays fair and never takes anything they haven't earned. Just once I would like to know what that feels like.

- On Same-Sex Marriage
-
Isn't marriage just a formal way of saying to the world...this is the person I love, so why would we want to limit who we can love? Yes I get that "marriage" in the traditional sense is a "religious" doctrine, but doesn't religion also teach us to love thy neighbor. And why do we allow the government to dictate to us base on "religious" beliefs that we may not all share? I think by doing that we are allowing the government to commit one of the biggest acts of discrimination and prejudice out there. I for one think we should do away with the term "marriage" and just call it a "joining", or "union" that entitles everyone to the same rights and privileges regardless of who their partner is.
And for those of you nuts that are going to scream..."well whats next...you gonna let them marry a sheep"??... Really?? because that is a mature argument right?
