- The breakup

As it turns out, the worst was by texting. The confusing part was that only a week prior to the breakup was the best week of my short lived romantic life. So the sudden change of heart baffled, and still does baffle me. Truly I sometimes find myself walking to my truck and expect him to be there. But out of sight out of mind, and as for me, I lose memories of people too fast anyhow, so i suspect that this situation is no different. It. was my best. but surely I will find someone new to consume me and tell cheesy jokes too and fall asleep with.

Where the oceans turns and metal rots.
Old burger stands and the worlds best fries
where every feeble minded person would die
gloomy days and gloomy nights
dominated the majority of the year
kids running across the street in the densest of fog
getting hit, willingly hit.
trying again when the dysfunctional fog comes again.
