        A fav teacher told us that "snuck" wasn't a word, that the proper word was "sneaked". "Snuck", she said, was something that came outa yer nose...Every time I hear it used, I have to hold my breath so I won't scream at the T.V. or correct a perfectly nice, but obviously ignorant stranger!
