    • Growing Up Books
      • These were some of my first "big kids" books. I remember polishing one off in a few hours, and for me, that was HUGE. It meant that I was growing up, and I didn't have to stay in the kid's section at the library anymore if I didn't want to.

    • Going the way of the chopstick...
      • Dessert Sushi

Japanese food, hands down. There's so much variety, and it's so healthy for the most part. Miso soup, sashimi, sushi, sushi rolls, tempura, edamame, rice, green tea, sake, etc. I could probably eat Japanese food for the rest of my life and be an incredibly full and happy camper.

    • I wrote my bucket list 20 years ago...here's an excerpt:
      • Bike across the US
Why not? Think of all the extraordinary photo ops and storylines I could find for future blogging. That...and damned if I won't look good by the time I'm done...;)

        Live, really live, in Australia
What an amazing country it is. To live and really experience it all, that would be the story of a lifetime.

        Win an Oscar
I've been working on a screenplay for quite awhile. I'm not content with it just being made into a movie...I want a little golden man all of my own.

Travel the Orient Express and Tran-Siberian Railroad
A trip like that would bring so many stories I've read to life. What an amazing adventure.

Start a successful foundation for children
What with budget cuts happening everywhere, art and music in the schools are going the way of the dodo. I want to start a foundation to make sure that children have access to creative outlets no matter the financial status.
