- The Best Food Ever...
-
My favorite food from any restaurant anywhere near me would have to be dots from the pizza shop in my town. Basically, dots are just a fancy name for this round bread sticks (little balls, hence the name dots), covered in garlic butter and Parmesan cheese.
These are probably the best things ever, and they are the best selling item from the pizza shop. Dots are so popular, locally, and around Michigan that they even have their own Facebook fan page.
The last time I ate dots was a few nights ago. I got an order of dots for myself with two (very large) cups of cheese sauce and it only cost me $5. For a meal that could feed a few people for two days, it's a pretty good value. ...Not very healthy though, I'm afraid.
They are so so so good. What are your favorite foods from a local restaurant?

- On Awkward Moments...
-
art work - clay day 2 half way g
I think that awkward moments are awkward because they are happening to you. If a friend or even a stranger has an awkward moment, you may not care, or you may even laugh; but when it's happening to you, it's different.
I have a recent example of this. I have an art class this semester and we had a guest teacher - a professor from a local community college. I have met him a few different times, and apparently I was standing in the right place at the right time when he was doing his demonstration on clay.
I was picked on I'd say around five times in his half hour to be a model for something or another. I also had to answer his cell phone after it rang two separate times. In addition, I was also picked to make a clay whistle as part of another demonstration of his.
Basically, this moment was made awkward because it was happening to me - everyone else seemed to be enjoying watching me be used so much. It was a VERY awkward moment. I'm not used to that sort of attention.
What sort of awkward moments have you had recently?

- Save Me . . .

New York 2009 - The Amazing Spider-Man
If I was in a tight squeeze and I needed to be rescued by a superhero, I would probably want to be rescued by Spider-Man. I'm not really sure why, he's just who popped into my head first. I guess there is just something about a guy that can swing around and make decisions on a dime.
I just hope that I'll never have to be in a situation that requires me to be saved by a superhero - real or made up.

- Why We Dream . . .
-
I believe that we dream to escape the real world of "awake time". If we didn't dream, I think we would all be extremely depressed - the world is not a totally happy place, and if we didn't have dreams to cling to, we would only have reality to go on, and that would be depressing.
Also, I believe we dream to unlock subconscious thoughts. We dream about things that we have stored way back in the back of our minds, that we want to or need to know about, but can't unlock when we're awake.
Whatever the reason we dream, I'm glad we do, because my dreams give me inspiration and the ability to go on day in and day out and be fine.

- My Sibling
-
I have a half sister. That's it. I never see her, we never talk. I do wish that I would have had other siblings growing up, siblings more my age and closer in location to me. But oh well, I guess I can't change that.
