Otter - Because they're clows and would hold my hand if we were adrift and floating belly-up in the sea.

Dog - Because they're loyal, lovable and can be trained to bring me the remote control from across the room.

Pygmy-Hippopotamus - Oh, come on! They're adorable! The "pygmy" part makes the whole super pet super tiny, so I'd bring him everywhere!

And I would love him and pet him and call him George! ;)

    • Choose Wisely...
      • Komodo Dragon

Hmm... What's worse(or better for you optimistic freaks out there):

A: Live in my dream home (a sprawling, sunny, hurricane-proof beach house that magically cleans itself) but work in eternal servitude to people like Dr. Laura Schlessinger?

        OR...

B: Work my dream job (massaging Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe) but live in a rabbid-Komodo-dragon-infested van down by the river?

Option A? I'd rather kill us all

    • Reversal of Casket Color
      • A friend lost her one-year-old daughter in a car accident. The night before the funeral (the first I had ever been too) I had a dream that the coffin was lavender and her daughter’s dress was gray. When a friend and I made it to the funeral home I insisted on sitting in the back row and refused to go up to view her tiny body. It was just too much and not the way I wanted to remember the once happy little girl. My friend went up to pay her respects and was visibly shaken. Who wouldn’t be? In the car on the way home I told her about the dream and she quietly pulled the car into a gas station, put in in park and told me the casket had been gray the her dress was lavender. The colors were reversed, but twenty years later it's still just as spooky.
