      • I'm excited now because I finally feel that I have a direction in my life. It's taken me a very long time but I can see what I want to be doing and I have a plan to get there. It won't happen overnight but at least I have a plan. Having some direction is very exciting for me!

        Friedrich's "Monk by the Sea". It's reverent and beautiful. To me it signifies solitude without sadness but instead with hope and aspiration. I see the vast expanse of sea as possibilities and the light peeking through the clouds as hope for the future. It's a snapshot of a moment of quiet reflection giving rise to preparations for the future. My absolute favorite.
