    • If We Could Banish Someone From Our Lives...
      • Dad

I'd banish my dad. I know it sounds bad and immature, but hands down. He's the worst person in my life. He divorced our mom when she was sick, and he never asked how she was doing or what was going on. I think Ally tried to tell him once and he told her he didn't care. My life's better without him.

If Ally could banish anyone from her life, it'd be her ex Jimmy. He's her only ex, and she was head over heels for him even though he's a scummy dirtbag. They were together for a few months and most of her friends are also friends with him, so she's always seeing him or hearing about him.

    • When We Realised We're Grown-
      • Ally's always been an adult. Even when we were little she was always taking care of everyone and trying to be politically correct. I kind of realised I'm an adult now when Aunt Mickey and I sat down and talked about university, because she can't afford to pay for it for me, and we started talking about loans and jobs. It was really the first time where I was like, wow -this is it. Time to make it on my own.

    • The Worst Thing for the World
      • Hairspray cover?

Izzy's hairspray, definitely. Aerosol cans are supposed to be so bad for the environment, and Iz and other girls just hold the spray down and get it all out there. They're trashing their hair, and they're trashing the environment.

Isabel thinks that organised crime is the most destructive force. She said all those people plotting together just to kill other people is like a county-sized world war. They hurt each other; they're using resources and they're hurting the environment.

    • Something Iz would've changed.
      • Cemetary

Izzy's biggest regret is not living with Mom and me. She moved in with Aunt Mickey and Uncle Ryan, and our cousins. Mom passed away from cancer and I went to live with our dad, but Iz stayed with Aunt Mickey. If she could've done it over, she definitely would've stayed with Mom and me. It was really hard seeing Mom that sick and knowing she was in pain and wasn't ok, and I don't blame Izzy for leaving. I had to stay because I had to be there. I thought if I didn't stay, I wouldn't think it was real, because I never thought it would happen to me. Nobody ever thinks their mom is going to pass at such a young age. It's still hard to believe it, and I was with her. It must be even harder for Izzy.

    • How We Waste Time
      • twirl

We have different ways of procrastinating. I'll sit in front of the computer for hours using stumbleupon, and I won't even notice how much time I'm wasting. Iz does more of the "dance around the house with an iPod on" kind of thing, and she'll start doing chores that she doesn't even have to do. I can always tell when Izzy's putting something off because she gets really nice and asks everyone if they want her to cook them something, or if they need help with anything.
