- If I could tame a wild animal
-
Definitely a Giraffe. Mostly because they're the coolest animals ever. And they're actually very pleasant to be around. They like popcorn. I like popcorn too.
So, I could hang out with my pet Giraffe every evening and have some popcorn and watch the sunset. That would be a very nice way to spend the evening.

- My favorite place to hear music: George's Majestic Lounge
-
I used to go to George's at least twice a week when I was in college. The place only served beer at the time, but had a wonderful beer garden in the back. They had live music six days a week too.
I worked for a pizza joint and could usually trade pizza for free admission or at least for a pitcher of beer. All the best bands in the area would play there and the crowd was always awesome. Every kind of person there is would be there every night. College kids, professors, old folks, black, brown, yellow, white, gay straight. We were all there. Just the way it should be.

- When I realized I was a getting old ...
-
Okay, so I changed the title a bit from "grown up" to "getting old." I did this because I refuse to grow up. ;-)
I new I was getting older (and thus becoming a grown up, no matter how much I refuse to admit it) was the day I realized I didn't recognize any of the music on the radio. But, when I found the "classics" station, I recognized every single song. That was depressing.
As far as being an adult or a grown up, when I was able to have two cold slices of left-over pizza and a beer for breakfast without anyone there to stop me, was the day I knew I was grown up. ;-)
