        He's been Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands, Captain Jack Sparrow, Sweeney Todd, The Mad Hatter, John Dillinger, Gilbert Grape, Donnie Brasco. He's one of the most versatile and well known actors today. He still doesn't have an Oscar. Johnny Depp has over 55 acting titles to his name and sure he's won awards - 46 out of the 57 he's had nominations for - but there's still an Oscar-shaped space on his mantlepiece.
        Why? Who knows. There have been many travesties in the world of the Oscars, including the cringe-worthy hosting from James Franco and Anne Hathaway last year. However, not awarding one of the greatest actors alive for at least one of his roles from a career that has spanned over twenty eight years? The Corpse Bride would turn in her grave.
